CNN's Susan Roesgen Picking on the Tea Party
Much to my dismay I have seen the Susan Roesgen, of CNN, live reports from the Chicago Tea Party inaccurately displayed on CNN (through You Tube) and the liberal blogosphere. I will admit that some video I will display below will be repeats, but please watch each video to understand my points.

I witnessed the whole situation first hand. Before I get into everything I will state that Ms. Roesgen was inflammatory and egging on the people attending the Tea Party at the Federal Building in Chicago (in her immediate vicinity).
I didn't realize it was her job to tell someone they are eligible for a $400 dollar credit! How dare someone protest when they can get that credit! Then she wants the attendee to be appreciative that the State of Illinois is going to receive $50 BILLION in money under this bill! Money that WILL have to be payed back at some point! We'll find out to who later.
Two questions: Is CNN that stupid to send someone that stupid that does not understand why all of us were at this rally today; and, did Ms. Roesgen really think that people are that misinformed that they don't realize what this excess spending means in the long term? That would imply we don't watch any news channels (including CNN) and just decide to randomly check out the Federal Building plaza in case of protests.
Here is the video of her yelling at the guy she was supposedly trying to interview and claiming this isn't family viewing?!
Now, let's see why the people in the area, including myself, were upset with Ms. Roesgen's report. Let me say that once we saw the person CNN was setting up to showcase as a representative of the Chicago Tea Party almost everyone was greatly offended. The reason being is that this is one of those loon's out there that do not represent most Conservatives. In fact he hurts our cause because he is either too off base, too stupid, wants the media attention, or all three. One of his posters had a picture of President Obama as Hitler which is wrong and degrading on so many levels. Of course Roesgen jumped all over that. I want to mention that for the full two hours (duration of the event) I was there he was the only person depicting the President in that negative manner. That is where the anger towards Roesgen comes from in following video clips. She wrapped all of us in with this douche.
Please watch the whole clip. I know some of it has been shown, but this is the report in its entirety.
Now, I am not about to defend this ridiculous, "Obama is Hitler" man, but this is too much. Ms. Roesgen was more than happy to point out that he is off base and down right wrong in comparing President Obama to Hitler. However, she had no problem letting it go when President Bush was being portrayed as Hitler.
My final point is that there was much more unseen by the public and what was reported by CNN and the liberal blogs. I will post some more information on that bias below if you care to check it out. Ms. Roesgen was NOT being attacked. She was NOT being pressured. She WAS antagonizing and argumentative as was seen. She showed up with an agenda and CNN ran with it. One thing to ask yourself...If Ms. Roesgen was in such a bad place why was she able to go home all in one piece and enjoy a glass of wine, scotch, beer, or whatever she may drink to unwind? I'll tell you why; because she trumped up the actual situation. Everyone at the Tea Party seemed to be every day American's concerned about our country and the direction it's being brought in. The same argument can be made for all of those protesting during the Bush years. The difference is, CNN didn't make them out to be "extremists" or "fringe." With all the people they could have used for that purpose in those rallies of 20 to a couple hundred they could only find one in our group of roughly 1000.
This last clip will show the response of one attendee directly to Ms. Roesgen after her biased reporting.
Ms. Roesgen has the audacity to ask "Who sent you here?" Like she was the one being ambushed! Are you kidding me? CNN sent Roesgen to ambush the people at the Tea Party. That, or again, she just was that stupid to not realize this is something that has been advertised through normal online sites like Face Book and the MAINSTREAM media. Most people at the Tea Party that I saw or talked to did not claim to be affiliated with any "group."
As a side note, from my perspective it appeared that Roesgen attempted to have an actual on camera interview with this attendee and the man the attendee pointed to after Founding Bloggers had this clip end. However, with the amount of camera's and people in this little area it was hard to tell if it was CNN's camera or another blog site's camera recording.
Roesgen's real fear is not of people with our beliefs, but people of our beliefs that can organize just as quick and with a better message than the Liberals and Socialists that figured their fight was over.

And My Screen Shot of what Happened when I searched for this on CNN.com

I agree that her attitude seems a bit biased, but perhaps it was a natural response to the posters you mentioned. Haven't you even posted notes or links to websitesdescribing Obama as training Nazi youths? Now you want to take the stance against depicting him in that light, calling this guy a douche. Well then sir, you would have to lump yourself into that category as well, for your stance seems no less extreme.ben Franklin is rolling in his grave.

Susan Roesgen, of CNN should be reprimanded. I think she disgraces what a reporter is.

I have seen the video clip that your reporter, Susan Roesgen conducted yesterday and, I have to say that it was the worst reporting I have ever seen. It is apparent that none of the Mainstream Media no longer reports the news but instead have become tabloids. I do however, plan to watch you program only to find out who your sponsors are and will either write, call or e-mail them that I will no longer support their product it they continue to sponsor you. I also plan on posting those sponsors' names on blogs so that others can boycott as well. There was a time when reporters use to report the news and the viewers were left to makeup their own minds. I do not want, nor do I need, someone to tell me how I should think. I would rather use my own brains then someone else's. However, I do believe that most of your reporters should be using someone's else brains because they lack a lot of integrity.
Have a Nice Day

This so called reporter was a great reminder to me why I do not and never will watch CNN. She was horrible but I guess the higher ups at CNN think she was great as they all seem to get chills over Obama.

I spent 20 years with the United States Navy as a journalist/public affairs officer so I was horrified to see on national TV how biased and demented CNN reporter Susan Roesgen was. One of the guidelines a responsible journalist should follow in order to come up with a fair and balance reporting is not to inject one's personal views or opinion in the story. This has to be foremost and paramount, lest the quality of the journalist's work suffers miserably. It is so obvious that Ms. Roesgen showed up in one of the tea parties with a story already formulated in her mind - that is - to ambush the interview and do a piece that will satisfy her bosses at the CNN Headquarters. Maybe she just did what she was told to do. But then again, journalism is all about being objective as far as the reporter is concerned in order to deliver a credible, fair and balance reporting. Clearly, she went over her head, either on her own whimsical way or at the prodding of her biased network. Many say she should be reprimanded, which to me, doesn't do much justice at all. She should be fired. She is a disgrace and a total discredit to the journalism community. No news entity in the right frame of mind would hire such a low-life reporter. If there's still dignity left in her, she should pack her suitcase and leave the journalism world. If she enjoys injecting her views or opinions in her work, talk radio is the way to go, just like Rush Limbaugh.

I found her tactics despicable. In fact if you look up the Saul Alinsky "Rules for Radicals" you will see they fall right in line, Ms. Roesgen used this tactic, yet it backfired: : Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.
By attacking this man she tried to nullify his opinion. By shouting out her ideological points, she in fact inflamed the crowd further, another Alinsky tactic: Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. So CNN set out to show this side of the Tea-Party and the crowd was ready for her. Too bad CNNMSNBCNBCCBSABC can't or won't understand we will no longer tolerate this type of biased, diseased reporting any longer. We are not stupid people, we are highly intelligent and aware of these tactics.

Ms. Roesgen's question, "Who sent you here" ....is an example of what the leftist media thinks of the American people. It frankly makes me want to work even harder for my values.

Thanks for posting all these videos in one place. You Tube keeps taking them down because CNN is claiming copyright infringement. I guess they can't take the criticism anymore. They've been EXPOSED now. They're done. Over. Kaput. They've lost their last shred of dignity and have gone over to the dark side...the MSNBC side!
